a lot of the skunkworks parts were replicas of a lot of JDM performance parts such as the ARC air box, Mugen RNR, Spoon/Toda cams, etc. etc.

the z.speed tuner was not that close to the RNR. the center of that wheel was flat. the rota GroupN is the closest to the RNR.
fine....the z.speed and rota are a tie :fawk: i saw a black/red rota groupN in person for the first time recently, and as soon as i saw it, i knew it wasnt the real RNR....but i will admit that it did look pretty damn close h:

nah...the z.speed is close, but the rota is closer. i seriously cannot tell if the rota ran without centercaps and if there was brakedust over the rim. the rota is very close to the design.

i can tell right away between the z.speed.

they probably wanted to rename themselves. skunkworks was all copies of something that existed.

skunk2 are still copies ...but some were research and developed by group-a.

Skunkworks was changed to Skunk2 because a big company by the name of Lockheed-Martin had already taken the name.

Skunkworks is a division of Lockheed-Martin that designs all the new technology that you see in the newer technology military aircraft you see today. They are based in Burbank, and much of the development of the B-2 Bomber was based there. They weren't too happy when they found out Group A Autosports was using their name. Therefore, they threatened to litigate Group A, thus they changed their named to Skunk2.

I hope this informs you well, because I am drunk as hell.

I was under the impression that any z.speed stuff still in production is now sold under the skunk2 brand.
