It's very cheap.. like $400/yr on a $180K house and it's added onto my mortgage so I dont ever see the bill.

it will be included in my mortgage payment, but its my responsibility to secure the company ahead of time. also because of the small amount im putting down i have to pay it all in advance.

I think they all require that you pay the first payment in advance.

actually most people only owe a quarter in advance, but anything under a 20% downpayment requires a year in advance.

Go with the same company you have your auto insurance from.........generally you can get some kind of discount. Also, make sure your agent is on the ball (i.e I think there are deductions you can get for certain things like being close to a fire hydrant/fire station/police station, ect. Similar to getting safety breaks on you car like for ABS, Airbags, etc.).
