What would you do? (car situation)
So I'm 100% on my own for financing a car and getting my own insurance policy. So this changes things as far as getting an M3 sedan. Now, I can save up a bigger down payment and get the M3 in 8-10 months from now, or I can get a E36 328i in a month or two. If I go the 328i, I'll save about $5k on the cost of the car and my insurance will probably be about $800 cheaper than the M3 at the least. If I do get the 328i, I will definitely be going FI on it and doing other mods since I'll be able to afford it. With the M3, I was just going to do exhaust, cai, and chip. So what should I do? :happysad:

also, I am still going to school and will be for another 5 years. I need to pay off this car before I go to law school in a few years, jfyi

stick with what you've got til you can financially support yourself. I think its retarded to own an M3 and still be living under "daddy's roof", so to speak.

I would not get either. In the situation your in I would get a reliable daily driver and just save up money. You have 5 years of school ahead of you to pay for which will be a lot of money. Also you don't have your own place. It's stupid to put all your money into a used car which might not even get you through school.
