German, eh. Meh. I like it already, so long as it's not a VW. Unless it's that new high performance one. Audi, Benz, BMW, ummm... that other one. all good

Ya, if the parents are willing and the kids understand the value of money then go for it...my dad bought me my accord but I'm very grateful for it, and I've had a job since I was 14 to try to save up for a car, but now I don't need to.

It's from Germany but I don't want to say it until I actually get it, if even I do. Not because I want attention like yooly and his 350, but because I just don't feel comfortable because i'm not paying for it with my own money. So hopefully that can be left at that.

We all know it's the E46 M3. now tell us what color!

fourthgenhatch: :werd: rich kids sometimes piss me off, too. Tonight I was at this meet, and I see 17 year old kids with WRX's, and one kid who had an RX-7 FD that was at home (since he was in his dad's viper, and another guy who has a Supra. these kids are 16 and 17 years old. Pisses me off. I gotta work like a dog to get anything. I asked the kid with the RX-7 what he pays for insurance. His answer "I don't know" I felt like socking him in the face. fawk rich kids. but I'll go to the meets to see their buddies cars like the Skyline or the STi
Preludes are more of a girls car than a 240SX is, its got RWD at least! And a 4th Gen Hatch is totally a mans car, or an old person car cuz thats who I see driving them a lot.

My girlfriend just informed me that some kid at her school that had a blue WRX just got rid of that for a brand new STi. What a piece of shit

They're not rich, they're living beyond their means. I doubt his parents have any net worth. Besides, a G35 Coupe isn't even $40,000...wooptie fucking shit if you're a middle aged man with a family and a decent job if you can get financing on one. The kid is a dumbass is all.

The really rich people are the ones who don't flaunt it. The last time my parents made a car payment was in 1989. My dad has a Benz E420 as his daily driver and an Audi TT Roadster as his toy car plus my mom has her overpriced piece of crap loaded-up Chrysler Town & Country, all paid for in cash. Not crazy blinging or something but it's a nice selection of vehicles. They never carry a balance on their credit cards (i.e. they pay them off every month), they never finance anything. The only debt load they have is the mortgage on their house. Their net worth not including the equity in the house is about $2 million.

Now I say this simply as an example, because I never say shit like "hey I bet you wish you could afford one of these" to anybody. That's fucking wrong.

As a side note, my parents won't buy me a car either.

I was just thinking of 240's as girls cars because in my opinion it just looks like one, atleast my sisters which is a light teal color not to mention automatic.

What bugs me is my girlfriends dad just bought her a brand ****ing new car!! It's an '03 Cavalier which I don't understand because he drives an Accord and seems more sensible than that. Nonetheless, its bullshit...in my opinion, if you're going to buy your kid a car you don't need to buy something with 12 miles on it haha.
