Default online conversation... WTF????

Ok, so I was posting in this other board and here is what was said....

ef8: def silver. esp if you have Mugen body parts like that one.

IMHO, one piece front ends are pretty stupid. even if it is a track car. and even more if you have a 1st Gen with a 5th Gen Civic one. just my $0.02

Dead_Poet: I dont have any mugen parts and am not going to get any. and the one piece front end is a hell of alot cheaper then buying a new front bumper, new fenders new hood and then haveing them all paited and fited into place and plus I am removing the head lights and bumper lights to help reduce weight so this front end will help cover that.

ef8: since front wheel drive drag cars need more weight up front.....

like i said before, its just my take on it and take it with a grain of salt but, to me, its sad to see a 1st Gen go like that.

Dead_Poet: Are you kidding me?????? The 1st gen is the lightest of all the CRX's Its the best for drag. NO weight in the rear at all and the motor in the front.

ef8: are you a retard? no weight over front wheels = no traction. just build youre dumb car. whatever...

Dead_Poet: WHAT THE HELL??? No weight over the front wheels?????? So the motor is weightless now???????

technically you should have weight up front to get traction shouldnt you?

thats why those little wheels are on the back of drag cars so they can keep the front end down on the ground

your car only has one motor, and it is only really capable of propelling you in first gear. but it is also only on/off. plus it doesnt weigh more than 5 lbs.

Yess I know, but for the little amout of weight difference ther is in the fiber one peice and the OEM its not that big a deal, hell, the thing comes stock with plastic fenders, bumpers and crap, the only thing up fromt (other then the frame) thats metal is the hood.

He is making it sould like by removing all the front end and replacingit with the one peice I will have more problems then if I left it stock.

I think he was going from the idea that the sheetmetal on the front gives extra weight to the front.

Obviously this kid has never seen a real race car with a FG front on it or understands the point behind it.

Tell him to get screwed.

a motor is an electronic device that uses current to create an alternating magnetic field which causes an armature to spin. motor does not equal engine.
