Default Selling the Teg for MR2-t...advise

So i'm thinking of selling my Integra to move up to an 91 MR2-t.

How much do you think I could get for a 94 LS with 151K miles with I/H/C/E, Skunk2 coilovers/Tokico Blues, and 95 GSR alloys? Not to mention I have a 95 GSR (complete) engine w/ a busted transmission sitting in my garage that I was going to swap.

The dude with the MR2 is asking $6500 and this MR2-t unfortunately is suffering from low compression but has a grip of upgraded turbo goodies, with interior/exterior modification as well.

What do you all think?

Hows the aftermarket on the MR2?
Specs? I know they're Mid-Rear drivetrain which is pretty cool.

well all aftermarket parts are mostly engine parts which is good. You don't see too many riced out MR2s

Those things are monsters. The only problem is that it wouldn't make a very good daily driver, but aside from that the car is about as close to perfect as one can get. Lightweight, powerful, agile...PIMP...

go for it

IMO I'd rather buy a bone stock 2 though...

There's plenty of goodies available for the SW21 but a lot of it is jap-market stuff. I would say its biggest problem is the lack of airflow into the engine bay combined with people significantly upgrading the power-producing ability of the motor which produces a lot more heat.

Ideally try to get a '93-'95 with ABS and LSD. The '93 got upgraded brakes plus bigger wheels and tires, beefed up transmission with optional LSD, ABS was optional. '91-'92 had smaller wheels, tires, brakes, no available LSD, weaker trans, and also optional ABS. Not a huge deal but I would at the very least highly recommend ABS.

Oh and watch out for snap oversteer, especially the off-throttle variety. :db:

I thought all 93-95 MR2s had LSD
