Default Going to Tweeter for audio install...

Well, they've done it again. I told my friends at Tweeter I couldn't spend more than $900 on this, and I was looking to amp my fronts (JL Audio XR series components) and push a sub. Being light was my first cocern, good sound, second.

After all is said and done, I'll post some pictures and junk. What it comes down to is a Kicker 3 channel amp (65x2 up front for the JLs, 400x1 for a sub). I'm going to try out the new JL 10W3V2 and see what I think.

I'm tooooooo tired.

My stereo system has cost me about $800. Front speakers are stock, but they're clear (I have all the bass focus on the rear 6x9's).

Good enough for me for now

So, it's much more bass than I had expected. I used to have two JL 10W3s in my old Plymouth Acclaim, but that was a lot more airspace to move.

The new W3V2 model is much more musical than the previous W3. The Kicker amp is a K550.3, with a birth certificate rating of 750 watts. It doesn't tell me how it's distributed, but it knocks.

The XR series components by JL sound MUCH better off of an amp, obviously. I'm real happy with everything I'll have pics later
