They had a Toyota Scion xB (I think) out in front of Mercado20 a few nights ago. I think Wild 94.9 is having some sort of promotion for the movie with it.

Anyone going to see the movie tonight at Mercado 20? Mini-meet? :P

I think I'm not going to drive my car this whole weekend. I'll just get a taxi to take me around. I don't want some idiot in a Spyder convertible revving on me.

I actually liked this movie better than the first. Tyrese is actually pretty funny. Yah, some of the cars are gay, but some are pretty cool. That blue camaro was badass, and that orange (whatever it was) was beefy. Once you get over the rice and all that other crap, the movie wasn't half bad.

I thought it was a lot better than I expected it to be.

Unless you had them custom made there are no rims on earth that are worth 27,000. Maybe ones made out of diamond.

Default My Review of 2F2F

Well, as I was entering the theater parking lot, I manage to count about 58 riced out cars, and 13 decent looking cars. This didnt prepare me for the audience that was in the theater, I'd say about 90% of the crowd was under 18 and about a third didnt have a license, they were loud and well childish throughout the whole movie, and well after the movie it was worse, I never heard a worser chorus in my life the sound of 40 engines crying out to die, I was getting challenged by a 16 year old in what looked like a hand-me-down escort with the proper rice attire(neons, sticker, etc) I responded to his engine's death cry with a polite heartfelt birdy, and took off on my way home...

anyway to the movie

Cars-**1/2
they looked like a pack of M&M exploded in Miami, a colorful blend of Japanese, Korean, German, British, and American Plastic and Steel, some cars looked very decent, the old american muscle got me the most, but in general, these where movie cars (I am sure there isnt a turbo kit for the Eclipse V6), and the trucks were should I say "too flash" to do what they did. I give the cars 2 and 1/2 star just cus they were all customized in the extreme yet some APC crappies manage to get in too.

Storyline-****
Fairly decent, well written, alright to follow, and pretty funny, some lines were good ones, cant say much cus I dont want to spoi the movie, but it was pretty good

Actors-**
My my Walker was builked up and he has gotten smarter, no longer shooting of stupid Motec exhaust bullshit anymore, he actually read a SCC magazine, anyway Tyrese and Walker are friends, how good of friends, I cant say there were moments of extreme closness between them, the other actors well they didnt do a whole lot, they were mediacore.

Stunts-****1/2
Very very good, though unrealistic, but remember this is a movie, cus everyone know a skyline with a kit cannot survive a landing as should at the beginning, the mustang getting crushed was sad, yet awesome. last boat scene was the topping on the sundae yet again awesome. These stunts further show the fact that this is a Movie.

Overall-**1/2 out of 5
Much better the "the fast and the furious", maybe cus Vin diesel isnt in it, I'd say go out and see it, to see the stunts, but remeber this movie is geared toward kids just getting their license, so dont get to offended by the subliminal adverts for NX and APC
Again much better than the original, decent acting, mediacore cars, great stunts, rice galore, and see when you have nothing else to do movie

maybe one of his "friends" sold him the rims, and knew he could rip off a rich, dumb idiot really badly. it'd still be pretty moronic, if true
