New Mini is pretty damn safe.

 

yeah i had my doubts on a "little car" and when my friend went to the dealership i looked and asked. when you look at the engine bay of the mini, its small and tight. but its very well braced and enforced.. its got a crumple zone thats basically half of the engine bay and how it crumples is the crumpling part basically swings in under the car. looks like it did its job in that picture
