write down a plan from beginning to "finish" aka "completed swap" (anything afterwards you can replan again).

write down shops, their costs for engine (and maybe install), estimated down time, when to do, how to get the money to do it, and what to do with the original engine (i say you can sell it decently to some EF owner).
