So since Mar's folks have been in town, my house has gone under some pretty nice transformations.

Mind you they paid for most of it.

We:

laid down a new kitchen floor

re-floored the downstairs bathroom

painted our family room
painted the kitchen
re-stained the kitchen cabinets
replaced the stove with a new glass top unit ( I did pay most of this one $600)
Built a patio
Laid concrete over the existing old red brick deck we had
did some landscaping in the front and planted a new palm
replaced my garden hose with retractable unit

I'm going to give them about 600 more just to put in my share for the parts, but they really insisted they pay for it all.

remodeling is fun stuff... I can't wait to buy a house... I think I'll mod my house more than the car... h:

 

We're getting a new fridge on saturday. It's name is Omar. The Stoves name is Hans and the dishwasher's name is Jacob. The Freezer is Esmeralda. And the little fridge in the basement is Edith because it's Omar's bitch. And the washer and dryer prefer to not share their names due to the witness protection program.
