Supposedly "Civic Renaissance Model-X", but in reality it probably stands for just as much as MDX, NSX, and all that crap stand for.

Correct. It also stood for Civic Rally sport (the x stands for a sports madel according to the tell-tell honda man) and it was Civic racing sport.

CRV is Civic (yes its a civic) Rec Vehicial(sp)

Passport = we didnt want to make our own POS so we hired issuzu to do it for us and once we saw where they messed it up, we fixed it and named it the PILOT. :thumbup:

Yes, it replaced the "S", the carb'd "Sport", thus the "i" was added to denote the fuel injection. Kinda like the 86-89 Accord LX-i, which was an LX model with a fuel injected A20A.
