Chesapeake Woman Charged in Rape of 12-Year Old Boy

For the first time in Chesapeake's history, a woman is charged with rape.

Police charged 31-year old Robin Kenefic with having sex with a 12-year old boy. Court records say that the alleged incident happened on April 1, but it wasn't discovered until May 22 when child protective services received an anonymous tip.

Neighbors of Kenefic find the rape charge hard to believe. They say she was a fine mother to her own children, and enjoyed allowing neighborhood children to play in her yard.
