Almost got killed today on my CBR...
well on my way to the basketball courts...i was cruising up the road approaching an intersection. My light was green when i was about 35 feet from the junction. Suddenly, this bitch makes a quick right to get infront of me - underestimating my speed. To prevent slamming into her rear driver's side door, i pushed the brake down.
Immediately, my rear tire started get loose and began going to the left. Trying to compensate for the skidding, i turned the front to the side making the rear come to the front as the front spun to the rear. Finally, i put my foot down as the bike came to a stop. The bitch just kept going ahead. I was scared as hell. I was practically creeping the way home after the game I was still shaking.
I hate people who don't pay attention to the road and other drivers, even if they are motorcycle drivers!

i've always wanted a bike, but i know i'd probably die on it.

it is VERY difficult to estimate the speed of a motorcycle because of the lack of a substantial wheelbase. its easy for me to guage lights and the way a car bounces to discern its speed...motorcycles are tough.
