I've been working on a 150cc scooter all day. It ran fine when i parked it, but that was a year ago.
Dumped all the gas, filled with fresh.
Tore down the carb, cleaned it.
Adjusted the valves.
Now it will idle, but if i give it any gas, it dies.
So i'm grabbing a beer and giving up on it for the night.

man.. what a day.. tyler had an easteregg hunt inside one of the local grocery stores (Albertsons) @ 9am.. then to Starbucks for a coffee and to the mexican spot for a steak and egg monster burrito. Then Tee-ball with my nephew.. Then to the mall to get Tyler's haircut. There was a health and wellness festival so we got some fresh lemonade and a bunch of free schwag. Then to my sister's nephew and niece's birthday party (big ass house/mansion). Jumped in the pool and got tanned. Ate some bomb ass burgers and carne asada. Back home by 5 pm and put a load of laundry in. Gonna watch hot tub time machine and drink a 6 pack of hoegarrden.

Did my essay on Narcan. Didn't do the greatest on my test though. The questions didnt have anything to do with the material we've covered the past month or so and there were many random, stupid questions, and some that we haven't even covered.. in class or in reading

Woo! got the scooter running finally.
I guess when i cleaned the carb before, I totally missed the fact that the main jet was clogged with shit.
Gave it another round of cleaning and Bam! good as new... Took it up the street and back.

I saw the live action version of Initial D a while back. When I heard there was an anime version, I lost my mind. I usually watch 5 or so episodes at a time. What should I watch next? :hsugh:
I'm building a d15z1 (shut up Brett). The bottom end is being put together soon. Head is rebuilt. It was my first time tearing down an engine and disassembling a head.
I got the cx tranny, but think I'll take all the 5th gear shit out and put it in my si tranny. I drove a vx and it was :ugh: I'm gonna use your DIY to get them open, and find someone with the right tools to do the swap. Gonna do a cross country road trip next year and lookin' for good mpg. Hope your build stays smooth!
