802.11b is 11 mbps which is faster than any cable modem regardless, and 802.11g (which I have and is once again working) is 54 mbps which is mighty fine.

Not slow at all in fact I get data transfers at same rate and occasionally faster than my CAT5 setup at home.

Ok technicality...but I fixed the problem which was the Hawkings cards that are teh suxor.

hrm...


maybe I'll go wireless between my desktop & my laptop when I get to S.C... that way I can lay in bed & still have access to everything from the desktop...
