People are using them on phones and tablets already. I prefer a physical keyboard too but having that area as a screen, keyboard, customizable buttons, etc. is pretty awesome.

I hate touch screen keyboards period. Personally this thing looks like it's more about piling on cool looking bullshit than function. If you want one then by all means go for it but I'll keep my netbook.

I'm with Goat on this one. touch screen keyboards are bleck. I can type like 60wpm if not faster. It would slow me down considerably.

It does seem like the future is happening, though. In 8th grade I took typing on a manual typewriter. You really had to push hard to make it print. Then to the big heavy IBM electronic ones. Those keys were nice. Lots of torque :chuckles: Our modern keyboards will probably last longer than all other forms, but touchscreen will get eaten up by the masses. o:

One of my co-workers bought a Dell Inpsiron Duo. It's not bad overall, but I found it to be a bit slow.
