holy shit.

a looonnng time ago, my buddy work at a car stereo shop here, and i came in to see him one day. he had just finished up a nissan pathfinder.
the sides had no windows, it was all solid.
right behind the seats, in a V shape, he had 8 15" kickers.
he had 30 tweets in both door, and if you open the back door of it, there were over 20,000 watts of amps.

the truck had a dead battery, and he only had the volume up to 8 or so out of 40, and it popped one of the guys lenses out of his glasses that worked there.
it wasn't drivable. the steering wheel moved about 4 inches up and down every time the bass hit.
the sides of the truck were jumping out a good 4-5 inches.

Wow. I'm glad I didn't install my subs in my new car. I realized how obnoxious people are with their bass.

having subs in your car doesn't make you obnoxious. having your music at max while driving down residential streets makes you obnoxious.

I have a sub in my car for my music to sound good to me. The bass is barely audible outside the car.

Excuse me, most people are douches with their bass. I would always turn mine down at stop lights and in residential areas. Plus its stupid to go blaring music around and drawing thieves to your car.

I'd agree that 99.99999% of people with subs are dickbags with them. My apartment complex is a perfect example of said percentage. The 3a.m. wake up calls kill me.
