Default kitchen remodel crew checking in

closed on our new house friday, and stayed up unil 4:30 gutting the kitchen as the first order of business. Couple of pictures...Ordering our new cabinets/counter tops on monday and laying the new tile floor this week. Will keep updated :crazyr:

the other half of the kitchen..no after photo, but it too has been ripped out...kitchen has I am pretty sure the original kitchen from 1971 h:

under the current linolium crap we found this treasure.

you can see on the last picture the subfloor of the next room. Already ripped up all the crappy wood laminate floors and ordered solid hardwood to replace

make sure you add outlets while you can. we did after we took out the cabinets and it's so much nicer now.

yup, we are most def. adding outlets along the wall before the new cabinets etc get put in. They had one outlet with a frigging power strip mounted to the top of the counter

+1 for worst location ever.

i have those type of handles on my cabinets (in a normal spot), the magnets are really strong and my fingers sometimes get stuck in the handles and it fucking kills.

Seriously.. and not just from an aesthetic purpose.. it seems like it would just be awkward to open too. Are they?

seems like they would be hard to open. they might as well placed the handles on the same side as the hinges.
