i got a canon powershot s230.. comes with everything you need for 400$. Flash card, battery, battery charger, cables to hook up to your computer or tv, 3.2MP, makes video clips with sound too.

 

I use a Olympus D-380

its a great camera, 2.0 megopixels

nightshots have to be tweaked though

 

Which would you suggest is better for just general purposes...just using during the daytime, giving printable, photo like pictures? We had a powershot S200 but it got stolen, and that was a good camera.

how big of pics are you printing? both of those are good cameras, i know the 3100 is from firsthand experience. a 3mp pic will print out to 35mm quality on the right printer up to size 5x7 i think.

 

i think since we are discussing which camera is better, he is saying no matter how good the camera, it wont do much if you dont know how to point and shoot it. :dunno:

its a 4mp camera. olympus c4000.

i think a 3mp would look the same. you can tell the difference when the pic gets really big.


since my sig is a 4mp pic...can you guess which one below is 4mp, and which is 3mp?
