Okay, I have Real Player, WMP, Winamp for playing various formats. I have NERO for burning CD's. What is a program that I can use to rip my store bought CD's to MP3 format??? Will said program also allow me to upload my tracks to my HDD for later burning via NERO? I know i can save the tracks on a legit. CD to my HDD using WMP, then use NERO to get then in .CMA (or whatever) format for burning. I'm thinking Realplayer and Winamp can't rip, just play.

I know I can just burn track by track using NERO and it just burn store bought CD's (many songs from different CD's to one MIX CD) to a CD R. I'm thinking I might want to convert the songs to MP3's so they are stored on my puter, then I can burn a CD later for use in my car CD player, etc.

what i do is rip using musicmatch, then use nero to make the cds.

Yeah, but is it MP3 format or some jacked up Windows Media Player File?? Plus, Microsoft prolly tracks stuff and will turn me over to the Feds for some prison time... h:

it can do mp3 and wma. personally, i like 196kbps mp3 the most
