Default Getting a new motherboard...again

So my ECS K7S5A is a POS and blew in about a day, so I am fed up with it. I am going to replace it with an MSI KT4 Ultra FSIR. What do you all think?

Specifications:
CPU Supported: Socket A(Socket 462) for AMD Athlon XP/Athlon/Duron processors, (800MHz to 1.8GHz Athlon XP 2200)

May I suggest steering clear from the MSI mobo's. I had one and ended up returning it. There was another thread about motherboards and another member is getting rid of their MSI mobo as well. I'm either getting the ASUS or SOYO next.

I'd get the nForce2 chipset for AMD... its a lot faster/better than Via's KT400... as for MSI, they are pretty good mid end board, just don't o/c them, flash bios (for those who got the 875p), etc...

haah, i'm not sayin i agree wit you but i just bought a intel proc(2.4C)

AMD is good for budgetsystems but high end is to intel
(the new 3200+ can sometimes beat the 3.0C, just wait til the 3.2 comes out)

The MSI KT4 series is shit

dont buy it, I own a KT4VL from MSI and its nothing but probelms

only 1 memory bank works and fixing the CRC errors is a pain

just get a Nforce2 board, that is what I am getting now
