Gah.. .sometimes the people I have to deal with in this business just suck. Girl comes in, wants her nose pierced. I show her the jewelry before hand, explain the procedure, she fills out the paperwork and I pierce her. She says the jewelry is too big and I explain that she only has to leave it in for four weeks before she can change it to something else. She leaves.
Twenty minutes later her friends (not her) come back in, saying they went to another shop, had the piercing taken out, and are trying to argue with me about getting the money back. I tell them that the amount paid is for services rendered, and that at best I could give her five bucks for the jewelry. Arguing for 20 minutes.. says they'll call cops.. blah blah blah. They finally leave, but not before taking the five bucks , ripping it up into a bunch of pieces and leaving it on the counter.
I take that five, tape it up, put it back in my pocket.

Troof! I hate dealing with teenage girls who are not used to hearing the word "no".
