4 pm EST/3 pm CST

Touring cars are running right now. The RealTime Nissan Sentra SE-R driven by Peter Cunningham (of RealTime ITR fame) dropped out of the race on the first lap. According to the team manager who they just interviewed, the clutch blew up. Petey qualified the SE-R in 6th place.

It was a surprisingly clean race. I missed the Trans Am race earlier in the morning and I heard a lot of people had trouble with the standing water on the track.

On the final lap, Pierre mistaken opened up the inside on one of the turns - the BMW could have so easily slipped in there and taken the lead. I was screaming the entire time.

Great race. Glad the RTR RSX-S is getting faster. But watch out for that Audi A4!!! Wholly sheet that car was fast!
