I have a pretty basic Samsung 27" tv that belongs to my roommate, a Sony DVD player and receiver, and Infinity RS 3 (the old, good, Reference Series speakers with silk dome tweeters) bookshelfs on 21" stands. When next school year starts I'm going to get my own tv, something in the 24"-27" range with a flat tube screen. I also have this plate amp sitting around so one of these days I'm going to make it into a subwoofer but I haven't bothered to yet.

Hey it ain't bad for college living.
