cable kicks ass.

go to www.dslreports.com

on the right, go to "our tools" and run the speed test and tweak test. do it at "offpeak" times, like late night. there's tons of other stuff out there to help you speed up too, but i can't remember where those sites are.

Oh I'm running at more than top speed. :thumbup:

Most of those "tweaks" are for windows however. I don't have to worry about windows slowing down my connection

my coworker has the wireless isp his connection speed is 4mb/s!!

the fastest he has downloaded is 700kb/s!!!

oh that's sweeeeet.

The only wireless option around here is 256/256kb/sec.... just barely broadband... and they wanted like $70/month plus equipment.
