I have this little idea. Was wondering if anyone can tell me if it would work.
On a car with Air Bags, I replace the steering wheel with a Momo and remove the passenger air bag, block off plate in it's place.

Can I go to the Ministery/DMV and register the car as one with out air bags?

 

Do they do vehicle inspections?

If so then no you can't.

 

i think they would find out anyway



plus why get rid of safety

 

It is extra weight and if you run road course you have to remove it.

But I doubt he goes fast enough to find the extra 45 or so pounds all that restrictive to his times

 

^That's true.....I hate air bags, don't ask why but I have a good reason.

 

Well if your putting your PS2 and your screens in those locations then there is no way they will pass it on visual inspection.

Alteration of the vehicles safety equipment automatically fails it

I have no screens in my car although the Clarion in dash (cd player stlye one) is nice. I wouldn't get one for a bit as I'm more performance/handling orreneted.

I don't know of any safety inspections accept for when you go to sell the car.
I'm asking on a local forum, hopefully I can get some info.
