Why dont i get Email notifications?

Why dont i get Email notifications?
I have checked and double checked my cp options and i have it selected to send me emails every time someone replys to a thread that i've responded to but i never get any. Whats going on? Anyone else have this problem?

are you making sure to click the "post reply" button, and not just doing it through the "quick reply" thing at the bottom of the page?
