i think that would be extremely frustrating.

It's not that great of a think to joke about. You could, very well, bring somebody down. Albeit, not your intentions, but when posting I think people should take the high road and consider who will be reading. We're grown people (even me, at 16), and I think that's a responsibility that isn't shoved out the door just because this is online. People can be fragile, especial the homosexual teen community, just becaue they're getting used to a life where people are going to say these things, they have to accept it as them being pure ignorant, the comments as completely not personal, and move on. How does YOUR thread key into what I'm saying? Well just think about it, you wouldn't post if you didn't think there was something "wrong" about it. If you reply, "I don't care," then so be it. I'm going to defend it until I die, because that's the only way we can make progress as a country that was meant to be for open people. Look what it turned out to be. Kind of sad nobody was there to educate you about things like this. Oh well.

Ha, that's funny. I've been told I have a lot of "common sense." Maybe it's a positive to being gay?

 get over it. i wish gay people didnt assume life was tougher for them. we all had it rough, and we all got ribbed during our growing season, its human nature so deal with it.

if youre going ot be a ****ing pussy about it i dunno where you fit in, women are crueler to each other than men are...

Fuji, and this is where I tell you: you can't understand until you've been there. Science proves it, gay teens have one of the highest suicide rates. I'm not a "pussy" about it, but if somebody else isn't strong minded, and gets concerned about it, it adds to a feeling of worthlessness. I've researched this, you don't want get into it with me. I'll find substantial evidence that gay teens are sometimes likely to be fragile. Just because everybody else goes through hard times, it doesn't mean we should make it more difficult for them by posting things like this. Or calling them "pussies." Educate yourself.

Fuji, people don't get rights by sitting on their couch and watching American Idol. Arguing with you over this is pointless, because everybody wants to believe "they had it tough/they're having it tougher." It gives them a sense of, I don't know, security? Irregardless of who has it tough, this thread isn't exactly self-esteem boosting. In many ways, it can be diminishing. That is my point. And if you want to call me a pussy, go ahead. This is online, you wouldn't have the guts to say it to me or anybody else offline.

if you're so 'fragile' that you think reading something i post online is going to 'bring you down' maybe you shouldn't be on the internet. i don't hate gay people. i have a few gay friends.

please, don't tell me i missed my education. you are 16 years old, you have much more to learn.
