Default any scotch drinkers here? :chuckles:

I'm thinking of trying out McAllen Single Malt

and while searching I found this

"We are all immensely proud of The Macallan 50 Years Old. I have to say we are in awe of this whisky, which is a good many years older than a few of us! We were looking for casks from 1949 which, when married together, would give us a superlative whisky, faithfully reflective of The Macallan in those years immediately following the Second World War. The three casks we chose were all filled on the same day, 14th January 1949, and have matured here in Speyside over the last 50 years; it's quite a humbling thought!"

Guess the price.

Damn hat better be some damn good scotch cuz even Glenlivett or Glenfidditch can't charge that much for theirs and they are the best of the best.

$4750

But my friend who is an avid scotch drinker said the site is over priced. Like the 12 years stuff liks for $60 but he said he buys them for $45. Same with the 18year old stuff.

Glenlivet is what I would do but then I am not a huge scotch drinker.

Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Vintage 1972
Price: $279.91.
