What are your thoughts on Rota wheels? I know that a few of you have Slipstreams. I was looking into the Rota Battles for my car.

everyone hates them because they're cheap knockoffs

i love them because they're cheap knockoffs and they're great quality.

 

i personally dont like them for the fact that they are 100% knockoffs.

however, i will admit...that as a purely blatant knockoff, they make one of the closest looking imitations on the market. all the others suck at teh copying.

 

I loved mine (till they were stolen).

I could care less if they're knockoffs. The quality is good, they're lightweight, and look good. I can't justify paying $300+ per wheel for Spoons, however at $114 per Silpstream, that's doable.

 

yes, everyone dogs on them for being knockoffs, but they have become 10x more known and popular because they are smart enough to know that they need to make the price lower to gain an audience. I'm personally thinking of getting a pair of rota's pretty soon.

They are probably the highest quality knock off around.

Well with years in the wheel making business, company's are bond to make copies of each other.

I mean it doesn't just happen in the wheel market. Look at electronics, foods, clothes. I mean, would kind of suck to just have one brand of pizza out there.

 

slipstreams here....inexpensive, great quality. go for it

 

I don't know about rota's but my mugen rims are pretty good quality.
