Why WOULDNT you go? Worried about being bored? Is it too far? Time off going to be an issue?

It's a weekend trip, so no time off issues.

only thing i have to cover myself is getting down to Tampa and a place to stay. Just wondering if anyone has been where they could say its not going to get boring after 5 hours of racing. 12 hours of racing is a pretty long time

Haven't done ALMS yet, but I've done two-day, 12 hour HSCR events.
You won't be bored; I'd be there in a heartbeat to see the Peugeots race.

Even if Audi isn't there... go.

I've gone to both the ALMS races at long beach and laguna seca (and infineon back when they raced it :wtc races for the past 5 years except for a 2 times when other obligations stopped me from going. it has a good range of regular (well as regular as you can get) race cars mixed with the prototypes. Also being 12hrs of Sebring means that many cars and teams who don't usually race ALMS and race the regular Le Mans series overseas will be testing out cars and proving their rides. I say go. Races in general are a blast as long as you have people around you who are into it. Being able to be part of the Peugot team will be awesome as they really are making a impact in the series. Also ALMS is generally pretty open with fans visiting the team tents and having fan events before and during the race. Can't wait for Long Beach Grand Prix this year
