I need a new receiver for home the one i have isn't powerful enough and doesn't have digial optical input, i need something with:

• At least 2 sets of digital optical inputs
• At least 2 sets of RCA plugs input
• 5.1 dolby or higher
• dolby pro logic 2 support
• preferably slim unit
• speaker jacks for 6 speaker system (5.1) at least
• powerful (ie at least 50 watts a speaker)

 

Usally recievers aren't used to power subs. Subs are usally powered. Its not slim but i really like my harmon/kardon 320 i think. It blows my high end (or used to be) kenwood away. Harmon doesn't rate thier power the same so don't dissmiss it cause it says only 50 watts. I will guarantee you those will be clean and hang with most others 100 watts.

 

ok yeah i didn't think about that on the subwoofer, do you know anywhere good to buy receivers online?

 

Well i have never bought anythign from these guys but they seem good and sometimes seem to have good deals. I think some stuff may be refurbished but just read and they will tell you if it is or not. I also like onkyo and denon. Any one would be a solid choice.
