Saving 7 seats is a bitch move. But I guess that since movies nowadays are all multi-megaloplexes with stadium seating, $9.50 tickets and online ordering that's what we have to deal with. Can't people think of anything better to do with themselves?

Oh well, the theater companies are loving it.

I disagree. Even if I was there by myself, he was not there before me. First come first serve. I've had many experiences being on the other end.

Now of course I wasn't there by myself. I was with two other people. So if you want to say I was saving 2 seats and the other person was saving 3 and the last person was saving 2 that's fine with me.

When I think about all this strategizing just over a damn movie seat, I think that Suburbia needs to get over itself.

Sure the guy wasn't there before you, but it's just inconsiderate to take up a block of 7 seats. Whatever, common courtesy died a long time ago.

 

same situation happened to me and my friends years ago when we were watching one of the bond movie. we were saving a two seats and this couple came and sat down and we were like we saving those seats, but they ignored us and sat right down. well throughout the whole movie we were making all kind of noise and they were fairly pissed. :chuckles:

 

I believe in first come first serve.... but you actually have to be there for this rule to apply.

 

if he was smart enough, he could have used your own logic against you. You said if you want good seats, show up early. Well, it seems he DID show up earlier than the 7 people you were saving seats for.


I woulda been pissed off too. I can see up to about 3, but 7? come on. Let them find their own seats.
