So twitter has been out for a while and i decided to give it a go over the past couple of weeks... "followed" a bunch of sports teams, atheletes, some celebrities, websites, and companies... and the tweets are coming in...

After using it i dont see what the big deal is? i can barely follow the tweets people post up... there is sooo much information that anything 'breaking news' gets buried within a couple of minutes by other peoples food choices for lunch...

what has your experience with twitter? or do you even use it?

i find it pretty useless, unless i am entering a constest or wanting to comment on something some guy on the raido is talking about - got my tweet read on a radio show just this morning while they were talking about the Lack of cheerleaders in the superbowl h:

 

i dont understand the point of it, but, i am debating on opening an account for my motorcycle group as another avenue to reach prospective members.

I signed up after the Broncos kept releasing important information (firing of McDaniels, hiring of Fox, etc.) on twitter. I followed the Broncos, a couple of players, and a couple of sports personalities. There were so many random useless tweets that I unfollowed basically anyone who tweeted more than once a day. I barely use it... check it maybe once a week.

I have to say that I don't really get it either.

 

I signed up with this phone and made like 4 posts but its pretty much garbage imo. I check it once a week if I remember but it is pretty clunky to navigate and keep up with so I don't bother.

I hardly post anything.. but I use it to keep tabs on certain things I'm interested in... radio stations.. comics I follow.. news organizations.. shit like that. It was ridiculously fascinating during the Iran elections a couple years ago... especially when shit started hitting the fan. If anyone remembers that girl who got shot that became a huge deal.. I was able to know about it (and see the uncut video :doood: ) minutes after it happened.

I don't use it as much as I used to. I've won a few things and gotten a lot of great deals from following random people and sites.
