U.S. Unveils New, More Colorful $20 Bills

WASHINGTON, May 13 (Reuters) - Treasury and Federal Reserve officials on Tuesday formally unveiled the design for a revamped $20 bill, as the United States attempts to stay ahead of ever more sophisticated counterfeiters.

 

other countries have been doing colored bills for years. only now do we realize that colored bills make counterfeiting more difficult.. :chuckles:

 

Most other countries that have been doing it have been doing it for decoration, not to help stop couterfiters.

They look purdy though.

 

doesn't look too bad. a $20 is a $20 whether its green or colored. it spends the same way.

 

They need a new $1 bill. The $1 bill is ugly. h:

The $1 bill is ugly coz it gets stuck in some strippers thong and then jostled around when she does her thing. See they should have stripper dollar bills and regular dollar bills.
