Lets just assume your a badass pilot. if you could get any fixed wing aircraft, what would it be???

i would get a P51-D Mustang. 1300hp merlin v12, beautiful lines, awesome history. and the stories my grandfather told me of when he flew them in WWII.

 

I would get a cannonball perched on a high cliff

Probably an executive style Lear Jet

 

I don't know too much about planes...but I would love to have a Harrier verticle take-off jets are

 

Hmm.... I've always loved airplanes...too many cool ones to pick for sure...

Vintage:
P-51D ('nuff said)
P-47 (takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin')
Yak-9K (had a BIG m'f'n cannon in the nose...like big enough to slow the plane down)

Modern:
A-10 (GAU-8! W00t! Kill a main battle tank in 2 seconds)
F-22 (supercruise ownz j00)
EF2000 (I dunno if this one's operational yet...but it's chock-full of cool battlefield technology goodness)

then you'd love the new jsf x-35 (i think thats it). it's a stovl (short take off vertical landing) jet capable of breaking the sound barrier. WAY faster than the current harrier. :thumbup:
