Do you test network security?
I find myself doing this everytime I log onto a wireless network. Access the router login and test default passwords and simple combinations.
Today I have been to 4 places requiring a login to get on their wifi and so far only one has had their router login actually secured...wtf? Why would you hassle with changing your security key everyday and not take an extra minute to change your admin login??

Its kinda fun to change the SSID and password on them and then watch people around you wonder wtf happened to the network
I did that to a place up north over the holidays just being a prick, I started laughing so hard I had to leave before I got in trouble

Just looked it up, I am not malicious enough to see a way to use that in any way aside from to cause issues for random people. I don't want anyones personal info, I pop in, take a look around and leave.

I am wondering if that would be able to sniff out WPA/WPA2 logins as well....hmmm might have to find a droid version of this to play with.

I do that all the time to local coffee shops. A fun thing to do is leave the SSID the same, change the admin password, and block the most common websites like fbook, their website/homepage, google, gmail, yahoo.
in for checking network security every now and then. like when i'm gonna be somewhere for a while using the wireless and such.
and to those who fuck around with other people's wireless... tsk tsk
