I just got this in an email and it made me wonder
Is that correct? I thought it would be "assure" or "ensure."

english has a lot of words that are spelt differently that are pronounced almost the same/the same. "there, their, & they're" is another example. Spanky with the grammer links for the win. you helped me the other day with colon and semi-colon.
