Default Tablet PC or Notebook

Which would you choose?

I'm going to college next year and my desktop is good enough (p3 750MHz[thanks to dakarM, not here yet tho]:thumbup: )

Tablets are a bit more portable but Laptops are a lot more powerfulh:


I'm thinkin' most of yall will say laptop(the only thing tablets have is the touchscreen), so what's ur recommendations

I vote Tablet. I mean, desktop in your living quarters, and tablet for class. I mean, honestly. Is it easier for you to type your notes, or scroll them down by hand on a tablet? Plus no need for paper, and when you take a test using notes, just go get the pages of notes printed.

well said and network the two pcs so they can share data, many tablet's have a keyboard for alternate use as a laptop too, i recommend toshiba (laptop or tablet, they make the best of both)

man that one is pricey($2200's)....i was eyein toshiba's since its two in one...i was lookin at IBM's X series too ($1600's) its a laptop only but it weighs 3.5lbs

hopefully the price goes down this summer....WiFied, it'll work perectly with VAtech's wireless connection and any hotspots
