Default Need help quick

I know this is not a toyota board but i figured i could get some help regardless

My dad has a 1998 Toyota Celica GT convertible. We got some KYB GR2's part numbers: 365092 AND 334125 AND 334126. We also have H&R sports.

For the front shocks they are just the cartridge (straight tube with nothing on it). There is no perch for the spring to rest on.

What am i supposed to do (about there being no perch)?

I looked at the suspension install DIY article but i need to know specifically about this aspect of the install.

Thanks for your help.

Is there divits on the tube so that a plate could slide over the tube and the spring could rest on the plate?

no it is just a flat tube... it comes with this circular thing that is slightly larger in diameter than the main body of the shock that has threads on the outside. It looks like it is to screw it into something... but to what i dont know?
