Default anyone into model railroading?

I've been working on this layout for about a year, on and off (mostly the latter h: ), but I'm thinking so far, so good.

but I don't feel like hosting pics, so here's the first of a few

want to build one as well but I am waiting until I buy my house so theres no chance of me having to tear it down after its built.

nightshade: yeah, this is a small layout (5'x3') so its easy to take apart if I need to move it. thanks :thumbup:

My dad and I have a pretty large Lionel collection. We used to set it up around Christmas time and then tear it back down. We never went for realism but rather getting everything on 1 table. We had a lot of log and barrel loaders and such.

yeah, my dads got a large lionel collection, too. it's what got me started. His layout is 12'x8'

that's pretty awesome. i have a couple of friends into it. i wanna get into it, but it's expensive. and i'd want to wait until i had my own place too.

actually, its cheaper than you'd think.

and the blurryness is due to the lack of light/camera settings. sorry about that.
