its all location based. i sell cell phones at best buy in the baltimore metro area.

sprint and verizon are the 2 best in my area. cingular, att and tmobile suck. its probably completely different in CA.

I also work in Wireless at Best Buy, and I agree. Each and every person has different experiences. The least returned phones for us are Cingular. That for DFW.

i have tmobile...im kinda biased because i got it got the family plan mobile to mobile...i like my fone..it's soo small i can bring it everywhere w/me...once they add free nites for the family plan..i'm set...reception could be better..but not bad

plus..if u have problems and u complain to their customer service...sometimes they give u extra minutes or some refunds and stuff

Definitely check out the coverage map for your area. I would suggest AT&T or Nextel. However, T-Mobile is alright. I sell all those carriers here in PA in addition to Sprint and Cingular.

I lived in Portland and used to cross the bridge all the time. Reception was always excellent. I even went to Seattle, Wenatchee, and Yakima and it sounded as if I was at home.
