Default Camcorder vs Digi Cam

which one do you use more often? i have a 2 mega pixel digi cam and am considering either upgrading to a 4 mega pixel or buying a Sony MiniDV. I am not sure how practical a camcorder will be to me, so what's ur opinion?

digi cams i have in mind
power shot G3

or
S50 with 5 mega pixel

I have a Canon S200 for snapshots to post to the web; it's small so I can take it with me in a pocket which is key. I don't own a camcorder, so I don't use it.

I use my dad's 2 and a half year old Sony Mavica for all my web snap shots & such... it's only 1.3 megapixels, but it does the trick for me.

I digital video would be cool to have, but I wouldn't hardly use it...

I'd say upgrade the digi-cam and sell the old one. :dunno:

great opinions, guys. the reasons why i am thinking to get a new digi cam is that 2 mega pixel Canon power shot S110 just doesn't do it for me anymore. It was the smallest Canon when i bought it and i thought i would carry a small camera even it only has 2 mega pixel rather than a bulkier one with 3 or 4 mega pixel. I was wrong. 2 mega pixel is only good for snap shot and i need more than that. If i get a new digi cam, i will give my dad the one i have instead of selling it.
on the other hand, camcorder is cool too. if a picture says thousand words, a video with sound will say million words...but then again it comes to the practice and how often i will use it and carry it around. hmmm...hard to decide
