Guy telling kids Santa isnt real
http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1944833
now this raises a question. he brings up a good point in the beginning. but who is he to tell my kid Santa isn't real. do you find humor in this or do you find the guy to be a complete a-hole.

guy is a dickhole. theres is nothing wrong with kids believing in things like santa, tooth fairy, dragons and zebras. they can find out on their own that those things are make believe. if it brings them joy and shit like that...let them have it. why ruin it for them? they will find out on their own when they are older.
kids come up to me all the time telling me about them putting their fallen teeth under their pillows...and they always tell me all excited and shit. who the hell would i be to tell them the truth, even in the end they still get a buck...that buck being from some fantasy flying creature is probably worth more.

I never told my kids the lie of Santa and I don't agree with lying to your kids about him, easter bunny etc.
Yeah it may be a "cute story" and innocent but when they find out you have been lying this whole time it damages a bit of trust between you.
I have already heard its a bullshit theory but it is how I view it.

I'd be fucking furious if some random jackass ruined it for my kids.

I dont care if santa is real or not. Kids enjoy the idea of santa and that's the "magic". Youth = innocence = bliss.

Eh, I think parents lying to their kids is a stupid thing to begin with. They have have a Santa if they want but they don't need to make the kid believe that he's real for the excitement factor to work for them.
