I used to have to keep it at 75 for the birds in the winter . . . once i saw what that was going to cost me they got sent up the parents for winters to reside with their sisters.

we don't really have a heater, so whatever our house is at is where we keep it. we do have a fireplace, so we use that. and we have a gas wall heater that we can turn on if it's freezing, but we generally don't like to use that. i'd say it's usually around 50's to 60's in our house.

When we are home it is at 70. When we aren't home or we are asleep it is at 68.

it does make it really hard to get out of bed, but i don't struggle too often, plus i work at 1, so i could really sleep till noon if i wanted to

i depend less on what the thermostat says, and more on what i feel at the time. if im cold and its 70' in the house, ill turn it on. if im hot and it says 65', i'll leave it off.

The wife makes me keep it 72-75.

If it were me I'd keep it 65-68.

She's getting a snuggie and an electric blanket for xmas. I'm winning this battle.

My house is only 900 square feet with electric wall heaters. I only get to choose cold warm and hot.
