for some reason it looks like it is sitting waaaayyyy to far back.

 

The outside of the thing is shaped to not create a lot of drag while at the same time the horn-looking thing is designed to scoop in as much air as possible.

Also the top motor is I believe a Formula 3000 motor while the second one is something a bit more attainable.
