So you are dubious about the charges against Mr Assange, and the subsequent adverse action by the financial institutions. Did they drop him for the sex stuff, the leak thing or does it matter?
Who has done this? Is it the US? Maybe a "coalition of the willing," so to speak. The Yanks, the Brits and the Swedes; probably the Israelis too, for my money.

I am with Tark on this.
Paypal already came out and said it was getting pressured to end business with WL from the .gov.
The fact that Assange was a hero the entire time he was posting about Iraq, Iran, Israel, Russia, China etc. And even talk of a Nobel Prize omination but as soon as he begins making posts about the US instantly he has a warrant from Interpol for sex with a woman who has had ties with CIA in the past, his passport is locked down and nobody wants anything to do with him. Dubious indeed especially when MC, Visa and PP still do business with Al Qaeda, the KKK and other nefarious organizations with no backlash or moral issues.

If you think the kid that got arrested is anything more than a minor pawn then you are a fool. When all this is over the big dogs will casually slip back into the shadows and the pawns will be the ones serving time for trying to run in the marathon when they only had the skills to run a 5k.
