Anybody else have a problem like this
today i saw an s2000 with the license plates "v-tech" and i just wanted to get out and strangle him, "you god damned ricer there's no h in vtec" i get soo pissed at ricers and i don't even remember why anymore, i know i just want them all too die

I bet "VTEC" is taken in like every state. "VTECH" is probably the only thing the guy could come up with. On the other hand, he might be one of those 17-year-olds whose parents ask him "what car do you think is cool?" then surprise him with it for his birthday...and he goes the next day to register his new "VTECH" plates. I guess we're lucky it wasn't "SPEEDFRK" or "RACERGOD"... I've seen both, with ~16-18 year olds behind the wheel. Both Civics, incidentally...

LOL - let me clarify. Both drivers "SPEEDFRK" and "RACERGOD" were terrible drivers (no signal when turning, Racergod hit a curb TWICE, loud but distorted music, too fast on small windy streets, etc.) with really riced out cars.
But after driving two rusty Volvos as my first cars, I have a permanent grudge against young kids who get brand spankin' new expensive, fast cars when they can barely drive. Everyone has a kid like this in their school...the kid with the M3 (or M5!!), or the kid with the Cobra Mustang, or the kid with the new 350Z... you just want to strangle them as you struggle to hit 55 mph in your Volvo 240DL... hoping more stuff won't fall out of your rusted-out trank... like the tire iron which fell out and under the car of some old lady, who almost had a heart attack...

Back in my HS days...
one kid got a virtually brand-new E34 M5 along with his permit.
It lasted less than a year.
