i think because gnomes have that. they didn't want them to be the same.... that's my guess. it doesn't make sense to me either.

You can complete up to 25 quests and NOT turn them in before the expansion and then bam turn them in. That should give you a decent head start. Also, if you played beta you'd know exactly where things are for quests and such so you can plow right through them.
IMO I paid $40 for this game so I am going to play it at my own pace and enjoy the new area visuals as much as I can. What really pissed me off were the bugs and glitches and server disconnects during peak hours in dungeons and such. It was so annoying not being able to complete quests because items were bugged out. Hell, there was a glitch in a zone where you can't advance in the story because the main quest is bugged out. I guess in a month or so the hype will die down and server disconnects wouldn't be as bad.

For WotLK it took until about halfway through January for it to calm down. A lot more people will start playing once classes are over and jam up the servers.

shirly, its the new expansion content for wow.
on a side note, my goblin shammy is 35 already. played him 16/17 hours total i think. its so easy to level right now.

zackk back around black friday they had the original wow and burning crusade expansion for 5 bucks. then wrath of the lich king for 20.
i like the way they made leveling. its kinda linear but you can branch out if you choose. it seems to be easy to level also. I have issue with the flight paths. i go to new areas and talk to flight guys and there are no paths connected. it seems to fly out weird ways where in the past you could go right there.
